Job Overview:
A prominent law firm in Austin, Texas is seeking an Associate Immigration Attorney to join its well-established immigration practice. This role is ideal for a motivated attorney with 1 to 4 years of immigration law experience who is eager to manage a caseload, interact directly with clients, and collaborate with a team of skilled immigration professionals. Location:

Duties:
Represent clients in immigration court and before the Board of Immigration Appeals in both detained and non-detained settings
Conduct strategic consultations with prospective clients
Prepare and file a wide variety of immigration applications, including family-based and removal defense petitions
Review and revise immigration application packets
Visit detention centers for client intake and case assessments
Develop legal strategies and prepare clients/witnesses for USCIS interviews and court hearings
Draft legal briefs and supporting documentation for immigration cases
Coordinate with law enforcement, prosecutors, and community organizations on immigration-related issues
Stay up-to-date on immigration law and policy changes
Requirements:
1 to 4 years of experience practicing immigration law
Demonstrated ability to manage and move legal cases forward
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
Preferred bilingual ability in English and Spanish
Experience working with EOIR, family-based petitions, humanitarian relief, detained clients, citizenship, and USCIS applications
Familiarity with case management software is preferred
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active license to practice law in any U.S. state or jurisdiction
