Location

Duties

• Manage a litigation caseload under the guidance of senior attorneys

• Draft pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and other legal documents

• Conduct legal research and analysis on transportation laws and regulations

• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and mediations

• Negotiate settlements and agreements, applying strong advocacy skills

• Collaborate with legal teams across departments and offices

• Prepare case analysis reports and develop proactive litigation strategies

• Advise clients on regulatory risks and emerging legal issues

Requirements

• 3–8 years of general casualty litigation experience

• Experience with transportation, logistics, and trucking litigation preferred

• Deposition and motion practice experience required

• Familiarity with e-commerce/gig economy legal issues is a plus

• Trial experience preferred

• Ability to manage cases independently and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of New York
