Job Overview: A law firm is seeking a dedicated and proactive Intake Attorney to oversee the initial consultation and intake process for potential new clients. The Intake Attorney will work under the direction of the Senior Intake Attorney to assess potential cases, guide clients through the intake process, and ensure the efficient operation of the reception area. This role involves collaboration with the Executive Team and requires a commitment to maintaining the firm's high standards of client service and case management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial consultations with potential new clients.
• Assess and review potential cases for approval by the Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer.
• Notify the Executive Team daily about new cases.
• Oversee and monitor the intake of new clients and manage the reception area to ensure quality assurance.
• Review cases completed by Intake Specialists for accuracy.
• Evaluate and revise intake and reception protocols and procedures.
• Conduct courtesy calls for non-qualifying clients on behalf of the firm.
• Answer incoming calls as needed and meet with clients offsite to gather necessary information.
• Ensure case management software (CMS) feed and email are cleared daily.
• Complete all assigned tasks by relevant due dates.
• Participate in staff and leadership team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited institution with a specialization in law or a related field.
• Licensed to practice law in the State of Nevada and in good standing with the Nevada State Bar.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in facilitating the intake process.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Thorough knowledge of legal principles, legal research techniques, legal terminology, and government regulations.
• Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to work with databases and online technological platforms.
• Detail-oriented, diligent, and flexible.
• Advanced leadership skills with the ability to foster team development and engagement.
• Proficient in English, both oral and written.
• Ability to work patiently with individuals from diverse backgrounds and professional competencies.
• Commitment to maintaining integrity and confidentiality on behalf of clients and the firm.
