Duties:

• Take and defend depositions in civil litigation cases.
• Attend court appearances and mediations.
• Draft and oppose motions related to civil defense litigation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Manage a caseload with multiple ongoing cases.
• Provide strategic guidance and legal counsel to clients.

Requirements:

• Active member of the California State Bar.
• Experience in civil litigation (defense side).
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Strong court appearance experience.
• Expertise in drafting and opposing motions.
• Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong writing, research, and analytical abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar.

Skills:

• Proficiency in civil litigation defense.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload.
