A well-established personal injury law firm in Decatur, GA is seeking a Senior Litigation Attorney to join its expanding team. Location:

• Decatur, GA

Duties:

• Represent clients in all phases of personal injury litigation including:

  • Filing lawsuits

  • Discovery

  • Depositions

  • Motions

  • Negotiation

  • Mediation

  • Arbitration

  • Hearings

  • Jury and bench trials

  • Post-trial motions

• Lead litigation strategy and manage cases from sign-up through resolution

• Supervise and mentor litigation paralegals, case managers, and other legal staff

• Collaborate with team members, including managing communications with overseas personnel

• Track time and case progress to ensure high performance and productivity

• Contribute to firm growth through client retention and origination

Requirements:

• Minimum of five (5) personal injury jury trials as 1st or 2nd chair

• Strong understanding of Georgia civil litigation procedures

• Experience with motions, bench trials, mediation, and arbitration

• Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload

• Demonstrated leadership and team mentorship experience

• Willingness to work in a performance-driven environment with bonus potential

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD), LLM, or JSD from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active member of the State Bar of Georgia

• Additional bar admissions considered a plus

Skills:

• Exceptional legal research, drafting, and oral advocacy

• Proficiency in writing legal briefs and motions (writing sample required)

• Strong negotiation and litigation skills

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work under pressure

• Collaborative mindset with independent problem-solving capabilities

• Passion for client advocacy and achieving trial success
